Chart Maker
Create bar, line, area, pie and doughnut charts from pasted CSV or TSV data. Live preview, color palettes, titles and legend controls plus 2x PNG export - everything happens in your browser.
How do I create a chart from my data?
Paste CSV or TSV text into the data box: the first row must be column headers, the first column holds the category labels and every further column becomes a data series. The chart updates live as you type or change options.
Which chart types are available?
Bar, line, area, pie and doughnut. Bar, line and area charts show every data column as a separate series; pie and doughnut charts visualize a single series by category.
Which data formats are supported?
Comma, semicolon and tab separated text (CSV/TSV). Values may use a dot or comma as decimal separator, and quoted cells are handled. The first row is always treated as the header row.
How do I export my chart as an image?
Press Download PNG (2x). The chart is rendered at double resolution so it stays crisp in presentations, documents and on retina screens.
Can I customize colors and titles?
Yes. Pick one of five color palettes, type any chart title and toggle the legend and grid lines. Pie and doughnut charts color each category from the chosen palette.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. Parsing and rendering run entirely in your browser with Chart.js. Your data never leaves your device, making the tool safe for confidential numbers.
Why do some values show as zero?
Cells that cannot be parsed as numbers are treated as zero. Check your delimiter - a row split incorrectly produces empty numeric cells - and make sure the first row contains headers.
Can I use this for reports and presentations?
Yes. The 2x PNG export is sized for documents and slides. Build the chart with your data, adjust palette and title, download and drop the image straight into your report.
How to Use Chart Maker
This chart maker turns pasted CSV or TSV data into bar, line, area, pie and doughnut charts right inside your browser using Chart.js. Your data never leaves your device.
- Paste your data in the Data box: first row = column headers, first column = category labels, remaining columns = data series. Or press Sample data to try it out.
- Pick the chart type: bar, line, area, pie or doughnut. Pie and doughnut show the first data column by category.
- Type a chart title, choose one of five color palettes, and toggle the legend or grid lines.
- The preview updates live as you edit - the status line warns you if the data cannot be parsed.
- Press Download PNG (2x) to save a double-resolution image ready for reports and slides.
Both commas and tabs work as separators, and decimal values may use a dot or comma - paste straight from Excel or Google Sheets.
