Audio Pitch Changer
Change the pitch of audio files online. Shift pitch up or down by semitones without changing speed.
How does pitch shifting work?
Pitch shifting changes the frequency of audio by adjusting the sample rate, then resampling back to the original rate to maintain the same duration. This shifts the pitch without changing speed.
What is the difference between semitones and cents?
A semitone is the smallest interval in Western music (e.g., the distance between adjacent piano keys). A cent is 1/100th of a semitone, used for fine-tuning pitch adjustments.
What audio formats are supported?
The tool supports MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A, AAC, and most common audio formats. The pitch-shifted audio can be downloaded as WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, AAC, or M4A.
Is my audio data uploaded to a server?
No, all processing happens entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your files never leave your device.
