Images to Video
Turn photos into an MP4 slideshow online free. Drag to reorder, set per-image duration, choose crop or fit, resolution and optional background music. Runs fully in your browser - private.
How do I turn photos into a video?
Add your images, drag the thumbnails to set the order, choose how long each image stays on screen, then press Create video. You get a ready-to-share MP4 slideshow.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The video is rendered by FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser. Your photos and music never leave your device.
Can I set a different duration for each image?
Yes. A small duration field appears under every thumbnail. Use Apply to all to reset every image to the same duration at once.
What is the difference between Cover and Contain?
Cover fills the whole frame by cropping image edges — no black bars. Contain shows the entire image and pads the remaining space with black bars.
Which resolution should I choose?
Original uses the first image's size. 1920×1080 suits landscape video platforms, 1080×1920 suits vertical mobile formats like Shorts and Reels, and 1080×1080 is square for feeds.
Can I add background music?
Yes. Choose an audio file and it is mixed into the MP4. With music selected, the video is trimmed to the audio length using -shortest.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF (first frame), BMP and other formats your browser can decode. Mixed formats in one project are fine.
How many images can I use?
Dozens to a few hundred work well. Very large counts with high resolutions increase rendering time and memory usage.
Why is my video shorter than the sum of durations?
If background audio is selected, the video is cut to the audio length. Remove the audio to keep every image's full duration.
How to Use Images to Video
Turn a folder of photos into a polished MP4 slideshow without uploading anything. FFmpeg runs in WebAssembly inside your browser: drag to reorder shots, give each image its own duration, add optional background music, and export in your chosen resolution.
- Click or drag images into the upload area — pick several at once, JPG, PNG and WEBP all work.
- Drag the thumbnails to reorder the sequence, and type a per-image duration in the small field under each preview. Apply to all resets them at once.
- Choose a fit mode (Cover crops to fill, Contain adds black bars), a resolution preset, frame rate and quality.
- Optionally pick a background music file — the video will be trimmed to the song's length.
- Press Create video, watch the progress bar, then preview the MP4 and press Download.
For Shorts or Reels pick the 1080×1920 vertical preset with Contain; for classic slideshows 1920×1080 with Cover looks the most professional.
