Panorama Viewer
Free online 360° panorama viewer. Open equirectangular photos in your browser, drag to look around, zoom with scroll or pinch, toggle auto-rotation and fullscreen — files never leave your device.
What is an equirectangular panorama?
It is the most common 360° photo format: the whole sphere is unwrapped onto a flat image with a 2:1 width-to-height ratio, north at the top, south at the bottom. Photos from 360 cameras and most mobile phone panorama apps come out in this format.
How do I view my panorama here?
Click the upload area or drop your image onto it. The photo is projected onto a virtual sphere and you can immediately drag to look around, zoom, enable auto-rotation or go fullscreen.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The image is rendered entirely inside your browser with WebGL. Nothing is transmitted, so private indoor panoramas and unreleased property photos stay on your device.
My image is not exactly 2:1 — will it work?
Yes. The viewer shows a warning that the photo is not a standard 2:1 panorama, then loads it anyway. The result may look stretched, but nothing breaks.
Which image formats and sizes are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP images in equirectangular projection. Typical 360° photos between 2 and 12 megapixels load instantly; very large files mostly depend on your device's memory and maximum texture size.
How does the auto-rotation work?
The rotate button turns on a smooth spin at 0.5 revolutions per minute — a slow, presentation-friendly speed. Click the button again to stop, and use reset view to return to the starting point.
Can I use it on a phone or tablet?
Yes. One finger drags to rotate, two fingers pinch to zoom, and the fullscreen button gives you an immersive view. The viewer responds to touch just like to a mouse.
What is the difference between a 360 photo and a normal photo?
A normal photo captures a narrow rectangle of the scene. A 360° equirectangular photo captures the entire surroundings, so the viewer can place you virtually inside the scene and let you look in any direction.
Does this work without an internet connection?
After the page has loaded, the viewer runs completely offline in your browser. No network requests are needed to explore or rotate the panorama.
