What is this teleprompter for?
It scrolls your script at a steady, controllable speed on screen, so you can read it naturally while looking close to the camera. It is made for YouTube videos, course lessons, live streams, speeches and any presentation where you need to deliver text smoothly.
How do I use it?
Paste or type your script into the text box, optionally tick the 3-2-1 countdown, and press Start. The editor disappears and your text scrolls in the reading window. Play/Pause, Back to top, Mirror, Fullscreen and Edit script sit right below the reading area.
What is mirror mode for?
Beam-splitter teleprompter glass shows a reflected image to the presenter. Mirror mode flips your text horizontally so that the reflection in the glass reads correctly. Tap the Mirror button again to flip it back.
Can I change the speed and font size while it scrolls?
Yes. Both sliders act immediately: speed is measured in pixels per second and font size in pixels, so you can tune them during playback until the reading pace feels natural.
What does the 3-2-1 countdown do?
When enabled, pressing Start shows 3, 2, 1 full screen for three seconds before scrolling begins. This gives you time to start your camera recording and lift your eyes to the lens.
Can I jump to a different part of the script?
Yes. The progress bar under the reading window can be dragged to any position, which is handy for rehearsing specific sections or recovering after an interruption.
Does it work on a phone, and does it work offline?
Yes. The layout adapts to narrow screens, and once the page has loaded everything runs locally in your browser, so playback continues without any network connection.
Is my script uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. The text stays in your browser the whole time: nothing is sent to a server, nothing is saved, and closing the page clears it completely.
How to Use Teleprompter
This teleprompter scrolls your script at a constant speed you choose, so you can read it while looking near the camera. It supports mirror mode for beam-splitter teleprompter glass, an optional 3-2-1 countdown, a draggable progress bar and fullscreen. Everything runs locally in your browser — your script is never uploaded or stored.
- Paste or type your script into the large text box — the counter below shows the number of characters and words.
- Optionally tick "3-2-1 countdown" to get a three-second full-screen lead-in before scrolling starts, then press Start.
- While it scrolls, adjust Speed (pixels per second) and Font size — both sliders take effect immediately.
- Drag the progress bar to jump to any part of the script, and use Play/Pause plus Back to top to control playback.
- Press Mirror to flip the text horizontally for teleprompter glass, Fullscreen for a clean studio view, and Edit script to go back to the text box.
