What is the Lucky Wheel tool?
The Lucky Wheel is a free online prize draw tool that uses a spinning wheel to randomly select winners. You can upload participant lists, customize prizes, set lottery rules, and spin the wheel to pick winners for raffles, giveaways, and events.
How do I add participants to the wheel?
You can add participants in three ways: download the CSV template, fill it with ID and Name columns, then upload it; paste participant data directly into the text area (one per line, format: ID,Name); or use the upload button to import a CSV/TXT file.
Can I customize the prizes on the wheel?
Yes. In Prize Mode, you can add custom prizes with a name, color, quantity, weight (probability), and optional image. The image will be displayed on the corresponding wheel segment. Higher weight means higher chance of being selected.
What is the difference between Prize Mode and Name Mode?
In Prize Mode, the wheel displays prizes and spinning determines which prize is won, then a random participant is selected as the winner. In Name Mode, the wheel displays participant names directly, and spinning selects the winner immediately.
What lottery rules can I configure?
You can set: winners per draw (how many winners each spin produces), allow duplicate winners (same person can win multiple times), remove winners from pool (drawn participants excluded from future rounds), spin duration, sound effects, and auto-spin for continuous draws.
Can I export the lottery results?
Yes. Go to the Results tab and click Export to download a CSV file containing all draw results, including round number, prize, winner ID, winner name, and timestamp. This is useful for record-keeping and auditing.
Is the Lucky Wheel free to use?
Yes, the Lucky Wheel is completely free with no sign-up required. It runs entirely in your browser, so your participant data never leaves your device. It is suitable for both personal and commercial events like company annual parties, trade shows, and promotional giveaways.
Can I use my own background image?
Yes. In the Rules tab, under Background image, you can upload a custom background image that will be displayed behind the wheel area. This is great for branding the wheel with your company logo or event theme.
How to Use Lucky Wheel
Run prize draws or name raffles with a spinning wheel that picks winners at random. The wheel runs entirely in your browser, so your participant lists stay on your device.
- Pick “Prize Mode” to draw prizes, or “Name Mode” to draw winners from a list of names.
- Click “Import” and paste entries like “ID,Name001,Alice002,Bob” one per line, or use “Add Prize” with a name plus “Qty” and “Weight”.
- Set “Winners per draw” and “Spin duration (seconds)” to fit your event.
- Fine-tune the prize color, theme color, and page background color pickers, or click “Remove Logo” to hide the logo.
- Press “SPIN NOW” and wait for the wheel to stop on a winner.
Give high-value prizes a larger “Weight” and lower their “Qty” as they are won, so the odds stay fair.
